Hester Gas Systems supplies PRMS units for industrial and commercial gas connections across Nigeria. Every station is tested before it reaches you and can be inspected in person before it's loaded for delivery.
A PRMS (Pressure Reduction and Metering Station) steps high-pressure gas down to a pressure your equipment can safely use. Ours are built for compressed natural gas (CNG): the gas arrives at high pressure (20 MPa on our 1000 SCM unit), is heated to prevent freezing as the pressure drops, and is reduced in two stages to a low, steady outlet pressure for industrial and commercial loads.

Capacity is set by your peak gas demand, not your average. Add up the maximum consumption of everything the station will feed (boilers, kilns, burners, generators), allow some headroom, and send us that figure in Nm³/h. If you only have equipment ratings or a gas bill, send those and we'll work out the figure with you.

Yes. We take you to where the unit is so you can see it in person before it is loaded. Our inspector then transports it to your location and tests it again there.

A 380 V power supply for the 36 kW electric heater, demineralized water in the water-bath heating tank, and a reliable ground connection for the cabinet.
The thermostat is set to 60-80 °C before gas is introduced. Preheating takes about 15 minutes in summer and 30 to 60 minutes in cold weather.
